We present the report of the elected Student Union's activities over the past year.

The union officially took charge on April 4, 2023. Here's a summary of the key events and initiatives:

Victory Day
The union's celebration of victory, called Victory Day, took place on April 4, 2023, at the Kariavattom campus.

Inauguration of Sports Club
To encourage athleticism among students, the Sports Club was formed on April 9, with the SFI UCE Unit Secretary inaugurating the event.

Techno Soccer League
Following the format of a professional football league, teams were auctioned based on students' abilities. Matches began on April 17, 2023, and continued for two months. The Techno Soccer League was promoted through an Instagram page to engage the student community.

College Union Inauguration
The College Union was officially inaugurated on April 25, 2023, by essential support staff of the college. The event's chief guest was MLA Harindran. The program was chaired by Union Chairman Ajumal T, with greetings from the college principal, Dr. Prof. Bisharat Bibi, the Dean, department heads, and SFI UCE Unit Secretary Vignesh. Vice Chairperson Sradha R. Kurup delivered the vote of thanks.

Dance Club Inauguration
The College Union inaugurated a Dance Club, with former student Karthika launching the event. The Arts Club Secretary unveiled the club's logo during the ceremony.

Yuga Fest
Yuga Fest 2k23, a cultural event held across five stages on April 24, 25, and 26, was inaugurated by renowned actor Thanvi Ram. Students participated in various competitions and performances, and the event concluded with a Musical Night featuring rapper Thirumali.

Kerala University Union Arts Festival
Students participated in the Kerala University Union Arts Festival held from May 5 to 9 in Ambalapuzha. Several students excelled in individual and group competitions.

Anti-Communal Student Assembly
On Abhimanyu Martyrdom Day, the college participated in an anti-communal assembly organized by the SFI District Committee at the Kariavattom campus.

World Environment Day
On June 5, in collaboration with NSS UCE, the College Union conducted a cleanup drive around the campus, followed by tree planting. Chairman Ajumal T shared a message on environmental conservation.

Solidarity for Wrestlers
The union expressed solidarity with wrestlers fighting for justice by organizing a human chain on campus. A tug-of-war competition for female students was also held.

AI Seminar
An open discussion and seminar on "The Social Impacts of Artificial Intelligence" were conducted, led by Professor Vinod Chandra SS of Kerala University and Assistant Professor Arun BI from the Byte Technology Innovation Academy.

Pride Celebration
A week-long celebration of Pride included a face-painting competition, poster-making contest, pencil sketching, movie quizzes, and the screening of films related to liberation themes.

Techno Premier League
A cricket league modeled after professional leagues was launched with students forming teams through an auction process. Matches were held over two months, with updates shared via the Techno Premier League Instagram page.

Onam Celebrations
From August 24 to 26, the College Union organized traditional Onam celebrations, featuring pookkalam contests, Thiruvathira dance performances, tug-of-war, and a grand Onam feast for all students and staff.

Anti-Ragging Campaign
Before the admission of first-year students, the union organized an anti-ragging campaign, inaugurated by the SFI UCE Unit Secretary.

Welcome for Newcomers
On September 22, a Class Campaign and distribution of sweets were held to welcome the first-year students.

Cultural Club
The Cultural Club was inaugurated to foster students' creative talents and organize various artistic events.

Freshers' Day
Freshers' Day for the 2023-27 batch was held on October 19, featuring numerous events to help new students adjust to college life. The celebration concluded with a DJ performance by Alexandra Johnson.

Magazine Cover Page Release
The cover page of the college magazine was successfully released, showcasing the organizational skills of the College Union.

Kerala University Inter-College Sports Meet
The College Union facilitated student participation in the Kerala University Inter-College Sports Meet, providing jerseys for participants.

Keraleeyam Program
To promote awareness of Kerala's culture and history, the College Union arranged freed transportation for students to attend the Keraleeyam program organized by the state government.

Dance Workshop
On December 5, a dance workshop was organized for students, led by Jivon, the choreographer of Jugglers.

Christmas Party
A two-day Christmas party called Fun Day was held on December 18 and 19, featuring competitions, carol singing, and a DJ night. The principal cut the cake with Santa Claus during the inauguration.

24-Hour Hackathon
In collaboration with IEEE SB UCE, the union conducted a 24-hour hackathon to enhance students' technical skills. The event was inaugurated by Lizy Abraham, the team leader of India's first women's satellite construction project.

Student Parliament
As part of the Navakerala Assembly initiative, the union organized a Student Parliament with department heads, staff advisors, and faculty members, chaired by the College Dean.

Valentine's Day Event
On February 14, 2024, a creative discussion was held on contemporary issues around the concept of love, engaging students in thoughtful discourse.

Film Festival
A three-day Film Festival was held featuring 30 films in 15 languages across five screens, under the name UCEFF.

Techno Volleyball League
A volleyball league modeled after professional leagues was launched, with teams formed through an auction. Matches were promoted via an Instagram page.

Music Club Inauguration
To encourage musical talent among students, a Music Club was inaugurated under the leadership of the College Union.

Film Club Inauguration
Recognizing the influence of cinema on youth, the union formed a Film Club for students interested in film-making and analysis.

Holi Celebration
On March 22, 2024, a Holi celebration was held to promote cultural understanding and student unity.

App Development Workshop
In connection with the unit conference, a free App Development Workshop was organized for students.

Techno Soccer League Season 2
The second season of the Techno Soccer League kicked off on June 5, 2024, following the same professional league format as the previous season.

Renvnza 2024
After a 10-year hiatus, the college's largest techno-cultural fest, Renvnza 2024, was successfully organized from July 3 to 5.

Improvement of Classroom Infrastructure
At the union's request, improvements to classroom facilities were implemented.

Library Facilities
Library services were enhanced to make them more student-friendly, following a request by the union.

Campus Clean-Up
In response to the union's appeal, the college campus was cleared of overgrown vegetation.

Water Cooler Installation
A long-awaited water cooler was installed in the First-Year Block.

Bus Service
A bus was exclusively designated for the college, replacing old services to improve transportation for students.

Attendance Flexibility
The union negotiated for leniency in attendance for students participating in club activities, ensuring their university exams were not affected.

Double Valuation System
A Double Valuation System was introduced to reduce discrepancies in student examination results.

Bus Route Expansion
At the students' request, the college bus routes were expanded.

Publication of Revaluation Results
After a three-year delay, revaluation results were finally published.
